Our November meetup will be on Sunday, Nov 10, at Tapia Park, starting at 12:30pm as usual. The entrance is on Malibu Canyon/Las Virgenes Rd, close to Piuma Road. If you see the sign indicating the Salvation Army Camp, you’re in the right place. While this is part of Malibu Creek State Park, the access is south of the main entrance to MCSP. After passing the kiosk, keep to the left at every intersection. The road will curve around to a parking area somewhat close to where you started (see map). We‘ll be at a picnic table nearby. If you feel so inclined, you might want to avail yourself of the restrooms on the way in, as they are a bit of a hike from our meeting spot.
Parking is $3/hr or $12/day, but if you RSVP we will send you a free parking pass to print and place on your dash.
