December 14 meetup

Our December 14 meetup will be at Will Rogers State Historic Park, which has recently re-opened after January’s devastating Palisades Fire. SMMNJC member Dorothy Steinicke will talk with us about nature’s recovery, and we’ll be able to journal examples of regrowth. There could be lots of fungi in evidence too, after the November rains.

As usual, we will start at 12:30pm with a picnic, so bring a little something to share, plus your plate and fork. (If for any reason you don't want to share food, just bring your own lunch. The camaraderie is what it's all about.)

We’ll meet at the picnic area at the far (east) end of the long parking lot. Parking is $12/day, but if you RSVP we will send you a free pass. Do let us know if you are coming so we can look out for you!
